Adobe Lightroom has more functions than Picasa and is less complex than Adobe Photoshop.

Gotta specially thank JayBee for this "discovery", though I actually found and downloaded the earlier version, Adobe Lightroom 2.7 but my toy boy D5100 camera RAW file cannot be imported into the Lr.
So, still have to express my gratitude towards him for helping me to find out that the latest version works for D5100 RAW files.

Found another online photo editor that can produce the exact effect I wanted, but I think this effect, done using the one i used to produce the last photo is even better.
It looks much natural.

So I ended up not using the outcome of the one I spent 1 hour on trying and I used the one that took minutes to be created instead.

I need more skills and I think I need to learn how to take sharp photos too.

Chinese Rice Dumplings...

...Yum!

Days or weeks before the Duanwu, also known as the Dragon Boat festival, parents will usually go get some homemade rice dumplings ( 粽子) back home from grandma's house and I will so be so happy to see those dumplings because they are sort of "precious" and we don't get to eat these homemade rice dumplings whenever we want to!

It's kinda an annually thing actually?

These dumplings come in several flavors: salty (with meat) or sweet.
The salty ones, aren't actually made of salt LOL.

The salty ones, are called 咸肉粽 in Chinese and in the inside there are pork meat, salted egg yolk (the reason why it is called the salty-tasting rice dumpling? hmm...) and other condiments wrapped within some glutinous rice, covered with banana leaves and firmly tied up with string.

The sweet ones (甜粽) have red beans inside, some are empty and yellow in color that I like most especially when I was young and small and are eaten with a coat of sugar at the surface.
